With new beauty releases being announced left, right and centre, I’ve been filling up my beauty wishlist on multiple online sites.
Makeup is a complete obsession of mine. Regardless of how many bronzers I have, I will always want more. A woman can never have too much makeup! I’ve been keeping my eye on the new releases coming out along with raved about products that I have yet to get my hands on.
One thing I love doing is creating a wishlist or lust-list of new beauty products I want to try out once I get paid. After paying the necessary bills, I believe we all deserve to treat ourself and buy something nice out of that hard earned money.
Check out some of the beauty items I have my eye on this month…
Shiseido Synchro Skin
I’ve heard loads of people raving about this foundation recently. I’m really interested in trying this foundation out and putting it to the test. Said to be incredibly long-lasting with a medium build-able coverage. If it is as good as the reviews I’ve seen it will definitely be a firm favourite. I will let you know after I’ve tried it out. You can pick it up in pharmacies nationwide and online for ?38.95 on lookfantastic.com.
Milani Baked Bronzer
I’ve heard so much about Milani as a brand so I’m intrigued to try these baked bronzers. Soleil is a warm tan toned bronze with gold shimmer which would look amazing with a tan. I’ve gotten over my pale white winter skin phase and am living for the sun to reappear. Until then I’m keeping myself bronzed up and for just ?13.30 from Beauty Bay** I can see this becoming mine soon enough.
I have been meaning to pick up a Z Palette for months so I think it’s time I get around to doing it. These are brilliant for storing single eyeshadows or anything in it’s own pan really. I love the design of this one with it’s pastel and gold glitter stripes. I think this would be perfect for throwing into my handbag for makeup on the go. You can get it from Beauty Bay for ?19.30.**
Violet Voss Silicone Sponge
Silicone sponges hit the market recently and have created some very mixed opinions from what I have seen. The basis of them is that they blend your makeup into the skin but use less product than a regular beauty sponge. I am really intrigued to try out one of these sponges but from the mixed opinions I know I need to try it myself to make up my mind. I’ve seen a few different versions on the market but I think this Violet Voss one looks cuter than the others! This is available for ?12.10 on Beauty Bay.**
e.l.f. Flawless Finish Foundation
I’ve been dying to try e.l.f. products for so long. I always watch YouTubers rave about products from the affordable drugstore range so I’m delighted e.l.f. is finally making it’s way to Ireland. You can buy online from elfcosmetics.com and it should be coming into Irish retailers very soon. This foundation is said to be a dupe for some higher end foundations and also very good for dry skin. With the seasons changing I’m on the lookout for new foundations, especially formulations with SPF. You can get this online for ?11.95 from e.l.f. Cosmetics.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit Refill
The contour kit refills are on sale on Beauty Bay at the moment so it would be a sin not to pick some up! The shades I’m looking to get at the moment are Mink and Champagne. I think Mink will be great as a contour colour with a tan. Champagne looks like it will make a gorgeous highlight colour. These will also fit perfectly into the Z Palette so theres no need to splash out on a full ABH contour kit. The refills are currently on sale on Beauty Bay for ?5.30.**
Since writing this post I’ve bought the ABH contour kit refill pans along with the Z Palette. I couldn’t even wait until payday! The Shiseido foundation is definitely going to be a must have purchase for me this month too.
