It has been so long since I’ve done a monthly favourites post. Over the past few months, even though I’ve been trying so many new products, I haven’t felt the need to really sit down and talk about a lot of them.
Going forward I know I’m not going to try keep up with monthly favourites blog posts. Instead I’ll be reviewing some of my ‘latest favourites’ when I actually have products I really want to write about!
Since the start of the year I’ve tried so many new products. Below are some of the products I’ve tried recently that I’m really enjoying.
Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette
This was a massive sell out when Too Faced first released it last year, meaning when they announced it was being released again I knew I had to get it! James bought me this for Christmas and it has fast become one of my all time favourite palettes.
I love the range of shades in this palette. The range of warm, peachy tones are perfect for my skin tone and really bring out the blue in my eyes. I’ve created a huge range of looks from this palette. From neutral everyday looks, to more dramatic night-time eye makeup.
This is still available and can be bought from Debenhams.
Original Beauty Blender
I’ve tried so many copycat beauty blenders over the past few years, thinking they all worked pretty much the same. After caving and spending ?20 on the original beauty blender, I can see why people rave about it so much.
All the beauty blenders I’ve tried don’t have a patch on the original. After being soaked in water it doubles in size creating such a soft sponge for blending makeup. I suffer from really dry skin and the difference I have noticed when applying foundation with this is amazing! This sponge gives such a flawless finish to foundation and blends cream contour and concealer seamlessly.
You can get it from Cult Beauty.
w7 Cosmetics Eye Got The Power
I was kindly sent a package of some of W7 Cosmetics newest makeup releases. The products that caught my eye the most were their new Eye Got The Power eyeshadow primers. With three shades available, the two that immediately caught my eye were the cream and bronze shades.
The cream shade (purple tube) is perfect under every eye makeup look. It acts as the perfect coloured base for the eye for numerous looks. The bronze shade (bronze tube) has an amazing bronze shimmer in it. Whilst looking quite dark, it is a really subtle bronze when blended into the eye. This is the perfect base for any look using shimmer shadows. It helps reduce fallout and intensifies the shimmer in the eyeshadow.
You can pick these up in W7 stockists nationwide and online here.
These are just some of the products I’ve tried over the past few months. I have full reviews coming for a lot more of the products I’ve really enjoyed using. Keep an eye out over the next few weeks for more!
