Glossybox – The September Style Addition

There’s no denying it, we all love getting up to see there is a parcel waiting for you to open. So this morning I came down for breakfast to discover my September Glossybox had finally arrived! I decided to treat myself with a Glossybox subscription after I turned 21 in April and so far I’m loving it. This month Glossybox celebrate it’s Style Edition to gather together some key beauty trends for A/W 15. I’m looking forward to trying out some of the products from this box over the next coming weeks. For now, check out what’s in this months box.

Bell?pierre Eye Shimmer Powder (SP043 Whesek)

The pigment of this shimmer powder is amazing! I can tell I am going to get a lot of use from this product coming into Christmas party season. It is a brilliant blend of light and dark greys which will really suit my blue eyes. I never use loose eyeshadow powders so I can’t wait to test out a few different looks and try some techniques I normally wouldn’t need to use for applying eyeshadow. Check out their shimmer powders here I’m hoping to buy more if I like this one as they have a whopping 56 shades to choose from!

Marsk Eyeshadow Brush Pro

This month we’ve been given this handy eyeshadow brush to use with the shimmer powder. I’m always buying new brushes and trying different brands so I’m excited to try out this brush from Marsk. I’ve never heard of this brand before, by looking through their website they focus mainly on mineral makeup and they have designed this brush specifically for loose powder eye shadows so it’s a great brush to have.

Maria Nila Luminous Colour Hair Masque

When Glossybox announced last month that they were including this in September’s box I got very excited. I love to take care of my hair but with constant bleaching and highlights it can become very dried out. I normally give my hair a deep conditioning treatment every 3-4 weeks and this hair masque is right up my alley. It feels so luxurious and smells amazing. What’s even better is the tub we’ve received is the full size product and I can tell it will last me ages! As a little extra they have provided a 20% off discount code which I will definitely be using to try out more products.

Invisibobble Traceless Hair Ring

I have to wear my hair up for work but I find at the end of a 12 hour shift my head can be sore due to the tightness of my hair bobbins. My sister got some of these a few weeks ago and I’ve been looking at buying some for myself so it was great to get a pack of three in this months box. They tie up your hair without damaging it and reduce the tightness you feel from normal hair bobbins. I’m looking forward to putting these to use when I go back to work on Wednesday.

B. Cosmetics B. Sculpted Contour Kit – Medium

I can’t wait to try this out as I’m always looking out for great contour palettes. I’ve done some swatches of this contour duo and I think it will be great for a daytime contour. The colours aren’t to harsh and would suit most Irish skin tones. The dark contour shade is a buildable colour and the light highlight shade gives a nice subtle glow. I normally prefer a powder bronzer so I like the way this duo has a dark powder and a cream highlighter, it’s the best of both worlds in a compact.
The Style Edition Glossybox is very much aimed at looking after those locks throughout the colder Autumn/Winter months and giving you a few products to put to use for the upcoming party season. Also included this month is a ?15 voucher for Best Secret Looking through their website I can’t wait until payday comes so I can update my wardrobe with some of the amazing clothes!
Do you subscribe to Glossybox or are you thinking of signing up? Leave a comment below and let me know what you think. Personally I’m very happy so far with everything I’ve received especially considering I pay ?18 a month and have received ?82 worth of products, in this one box alone!
