A few months back I received Flormar’s newest Anti-Blemish foundation and I’ve been enjoying putting it to the test. I love trialling different foundations and I’m very picky in choosing the foundation that is right for me.
I find a lot of foundations tend to sink into my dry patches, emphasising them even more. Never a good look!
Check out what I thought of Flormar’s latest Anti-Blemish Foundation and if I’d repurchase it below…
Flormar’s Description of the Foundation:
Anti Blemish Foundation, with its oil-free and smooth texture, helps you conceal acne marks without leaving a heavy feeling. The natural powder pearls in Flormar foundation create a soft and flawless look and its Anti-Blemish properties balance the oil in your skin. Flormar Anti Blemish Foundation prevents blackheads and acne and creates a flawless looking skin.
What I Thought
Flormar were kind enough to gift me with a number of their new products, including two shades of the Anti-Blemish foundation. The shades I received are Light Honey and Dark Honey.
Both of these shades are perfect for me. The lighter shade suits when I’ve no tan and the darker shade blends perfectly when I have tan on.
This foundation is medium build-able coverage and sits perfectly on the skin. I’m personally not a fan of really light coverage foundations, so this formula was perfect for me. This has fast become my everyday foundation. Generally I blend on a light layer for during the day. If I’m heading out in the evening I’ll build it up to a more full coverage look.
One of the thingsI really like about this foundation is that it is build able without being caked on the skin. I was slightly apprehensive with the name ‘anti-blemish’, thinking it would feel packed onto my skin. this is definitely not the case. It is so easy to blend into the skin and doesn’t feel heavy.
Really loving trying out the @w7_cosmetics_ireland eyeshadow base primers. They make it so easy to blend eyeshadow on top and help improve the longevity of eye makeup ?? I used the cream base (purple tube) to set under my eyebrows and their bronze base (brown tube) on my lid. They made such a difference to the eye look and made my @kyliecosmetics Bronze #kyshadowpalette pop ? – Base was @BRYT skincareireland calm serum & @flormar_irl Anti-Blemish Foundation & @paese_cosmetics_ireland Rice Powder to set. Brows @anastasiabeverlyhills dipbrow pomade Contour #anastasiabeverlyhills Mascara is one of my new favourites @urbandecayireland Perversion Mascara Lippie is @lorealmakeup ?
I’m actually quite surprised at how much I’ve liked using this foundation over the past few months. I suffer with very dry skin but this didn’t sit in my dry patches at all. The formulation lasts all day on my skin, with very little wear. After applying this and blending it in, I find it gives my skin such an airbrush effect – which I love!
This is the only foundation I took away with me on my recent trip to Bulgaria. Now to me, that really shows how good it is! I really wanted an oil-free foundation that would look great on the skin, and not melt in the heat. I was not disappointed!
The Flormar Anti-Blemish foundation has fast become my most reached for foundation of late. With a super affordable price tag of only €11.95, I can’t see that changing. Would I repurchase, 100%! This is the first time I’ve really tested Flormar’s face products, but I can’t wait to try more.
If you want to try it out for yourself you can pick it up from most pharmacies and the brand has launched in Penneys too!
