Hello Everyone! I can’t believe it’s December 1st already! Of course I’m back doing blogmas this year so I really hope you all enjoy the posts this month. I’ll have a new blog everyday until Christmas Day with some great gift guides, Christmas ideas and Winter Tips.
December is filled with Christmas parties and just loads of nights out so I thought I’d kick the month off with a round up of Christmas party outfits.
I have a Christmas party tonight so I’ve included the dress I’m wearing, along with outfits I’ve seen that would look great on a festive night out. And don’t worry, there’s outfits here that will suit all shapes and sizes!
This is the dress I’m wearing to my Christmas party tonight and I love it. I wanted something that had a bit of red in it for Christmas and thought the red floral print was perfect. If you see my wardrobe you’ll know I’m partial to a floral print dress! One thing I would say with this is size up, I’m normally a size 12 but this had no stretch in it at all and I had to return the 12 and 14 and get a 16!
If you want to splash out for your Christmas party, this dress is stunning! I love the beading and the high neck with long sleeves makes up for the short length. Beaded dresses like this can be so forgiving if you have a few lumps and bumps that you want hidden.
This is such a 20s style dress and I think the fringing is really nice. I love the little bit of sparkle, paired with some silver accessories it would look fab. You can’t go wrong with a little black dress and this is a really nice take on the traditional LBD.
Primark Jacquard Suit
I’ve been searching Penneys for this but haven’t managed to get it yet, it should be in this week or next though. I think this is fab and such a good alternative if you don’t want to wear a dress for your party. I love how it’s styled casual in the image above but I would definitely team it with some gold heels and clutch for a party. The blazer is €30 and the trousers are €18 which I think is such good pricing as you can reinvent this outfit to wear it over and over again.
The festive season is the perfect time to wear a red dress. I love wrap dresses, they look stunning on and are great if your having a meal to hide the food baby afterwards! The velvet makes this look super Christmassy and the pleated sleeves really add a nice finish to the dress.
