My Top Winter Candles

I’m obsessed with lighting candles around my house every evening. They create such a cosy and relaxing atmosphere that I can’t get enough of.

Whilst I love having floral scents during the summer I think it’s so much cosier to have a winter scented candle flickering on a dark evening with the fire lit.

Whilst I love having cute little tea light holders spread around, I do like to have some amazingly scented candles or wax melts burning every evening.

Here are my top 5 candles or wax melts to have lighting in the evenings…

1. Baby Powder wax melt

I don’t know anyone that doesn’t love the smell of Yankee Candle’s Baby Powder scent, regardless of what time of year this is a must have in my house.

I have this in a wax melt burner in my hall and it is so amazing to come home in the evening to this smell, it instantly puts me in a good mood.

2. Christmas Eve

For me this is the ultimate Christmas scent from Yankee Candle.

It is always a sell out every year but a must have to add to the festive atmosphere at this time of year.

3. Spiced Orange Wax Melt

This has such an amazing scent of citrus orange blended with ginger and cloves.

I have this in a Christmas themed burner and it’s one of my favourite scents to burn on a winter evening.

4. WoodWick Hearthwick Frasier Fir

I love the WoodWick candles and find them a nice alternative to Yankee Candle.

This fir scented candle smells amazing but also looks incredibly nice on display too, I love the green mercury glass effect as opposed to your typical candle in a jar.

5. Deep Sleep Heavenly Candle

If your finding it hard to sleep or just want to help yourself relax, you need this candle.

The lavender scents will help relax your body and mind giving you the best sleep you could imagine.

There’s nothing better than the scent of a candle filling a room in the evenings. Let me know if you pick up any of my favourites.
