My Favourite Movies To Watch At Christmas

After stuffing myself on Christmas Day, all I want to do is get cosy on the couch and watch a Christmas movie. With so many great Christmas movies out there, it can be hard to pick what to watch.

Here are some of my favourites to watch over the Christmas break, with one of these guaranteed to be on in my house after dinner on Christmas Day.

Love Actually

This is hands down my favourite Christmas movie! It’s coming to Netflix on December 14th ¬†and I can guarantee you I’ll have this on repeat over Christmas! For me this is a classic Christmas movie, and one I’ll never get tired of watching.

Harry Potter (all of them)

Is it really Christmas if you don’t do a Harry Potter marathon? I know this is a movie marathon James won’t object to and we’ll definitely be spending some of our time off watching all eight movies.

Bridget Jones Diary

The cheesy Christmas jumpers and multitude of embarrassing mishaps make this one of my favourite romantic comedies. I think we can all relate to Bridget Jones at some stage, and are all guilty of hiding a pair of granny knickers in the back of the drawer!

I’m not Will Ferrel’s biggest fan but I have to say I love this movie. The childish playfulness of an adult man believing he’s an elf, couldn’t have been pulled off better by anyone else. I’ve popped into Penneys for my very own Elf themed pyjamas can’t can’t wait to wear them whilst watching this with a bucket of popcorn.

The Santa Clause

When this movie came out when I was a kid I loved it. Years later it is still one of my favourites and I tend to have The Santa Clause 1, 2 and 3 on a loop in December. Does anyone else want to try that hot chocolate, seriously it looks delicious.

Home Alone

No Christmas movie list is complete without Home Alone on it! Macualay Culkin plays the ultimate badass kid, planting the traps we wish we could have come up with as kids! The first Home Alone of course is a classic, but I really like watching Home Alone 3 too!

Thanks For Reading!
