It’s that time of year again where we all start thinking about what gifts we hope to wake up to on Christmas day. Of course I know Christmas isn’t about the gifts, but there’s no point pretending we all don’t hope to get a few presents on Christmas day.
Everyone’s budget and expectations are different when it comes to gifts. This year I’m trying to keep the cost of Christmas as low as possible, and within my family we have all agreed we won’t be going overboard with presents.
I’ve gathered together a list of some of the products I’ve seen lately that I’d love to wake up to on Christmas day, with varying budgets. Some of these I know I won’t be getting, and don’t expect to be receiving hundreds of euros worth of gifts. But if something catches your eye, it might be something that you could ask for vouchers for, so that it can be bought in the sales after Christmas.
Lanai Blo Hairdryer
i’m at the stage where I need a new hairdryer and I’ve heard loads of great reviews about the Lanai Blo. It’s a professional standard 2400 watt hairdryer with an extra long lead to help reach to sockets a bit further away. I really like the look of the new Chrome and Rose Gold versions which you can get for €99.99 or get a personalised version for €114.99.
Dyson Airwrap Complete
So this is an extremely expensive thing to get as a gift and I know I won’t be getting it, but I thought I’d include it here anyway. I would love to eventually pick one of these up for myself. The Dyson Airwrap Complete comes with everything you need to perfect your hairstyle without extreme heat. The complete set comes in a leather protective case and includes:
- Dyson Airwrap™ styler Complete

- Storage case
- Non-slip Mat

The new black & purple edition is available for €499.99 exclusively from Dyson.
Shopping Trip To Kildare Village
I love going on a little shopping trip to Kildare Village and it’s the perfect place to pick out a Christmas gift. Most of the shops have around 50% off the RRP on their brands. This weekend they have even further discounts from Thursday to Sunday as part of their Black Friday deals. If you’re not sure exactly what you want, why not look at getting a gift card which is valid for 12 months.
