I absolutely love checking out other people’s haul blogs and videos. This year, I thought I’d go through everything I was lucky enough to get for my Birthday. Everything I bought is in the shops now. I am very excited to have got my hands on it, so I thought some of you might be interested too!
This year for my Birthday instead of asking for specific gifts, I asked for gift cards so I could go shopping for myself. I haven’t had a shopping trip in so long so the day before my Birthday, James took me to Blanchardstown Shopping Centre where I could shop to my heart’s content.
After a quick Starbucks, we went straight to River Island. I’ve wanted to get another pair of Molly jeans for a while now so they were the first thing I wanted to pick up on my shopping trip.
This is a really nice navy-denim pair with rip details around the bottom. I chose the regular length in these and they sit just on my ankle. these are really soft and comfortable jeans and will last ages as a staple in my wardrobe.
I love going into Penneys not knowing what I want. Just purely going in to pick up everything I like, try it on, and take home what looks great. Whilst I love the more upmarket high-street shops, I’m perfectly happy spending all my money in Penneys. And getting three-times more outfits from there than I would any other shop!
I love how cute this polka dot top is, the Peter-Pan collar is a pretty touch and I think this will go nice paired with skinny jeans for work.
Off the shoulder tops have never been my thing, never! Most off the shoulder tops look weird on me because I’ve large boobs – not a blessing in my eyes.
I was delighted to find these two which actually sit really nicely across my shoulders and decolatage area, without making it look like I was wearing a sac.
The last top I picked up was this baby pink cami with birds. This is such a pretty top and will look really nice paired with blue or white denims as the weather starts to brighten up.
Penneys have a great selection of these cami’s in at the moment. With prices starting at just ?5 you really can’t go wrong picking a few of these up.
I can’t go into Penneys without a trip to the pyjama section. My love for Beauty and the Beast made me instantly drawn to these cute Princess pyjama bottoms. I’ve been wearing them to death since I bought them and they are so cosy.
I also picked up this set which features Belle reading a book accompanied by Mrs. Potts and Chip. It has really pretty ruffle sleeves along with some cute shorts to go with it.
I haven’t picked up any Penneys jewellery in ages, the influx of fake Rose Gold jewellery that turned green after a few wears really turned me off.
I love the look of these two chains though and I think they’ll look great with a simple top to add a bit of bling.
The Choker trend isn’t disappearing any time soon. Penneys have a huge range at the moment in every style you could possible want.
I love this layer detail choker, this will look fab with one of my off the shoulder tops or a deep V-neck.
Lastly I made my way to the shoe section where I picked up these fab gold trainers. I can’t justify paying for madly expensive Nike when I’m only wearing them as a fashion accessory. These sparkly gold trainers look great and I’ve been wearing then constantly with jeans.
I also picked up a pair of tan open toe slingbacks which I wore with my River Island Jeans and Penneys off the shoulder top in the picture above. These are really comfy to wear but add that bit off height I want without going full heal. If that makes sense!
My second shopping trip was to Dundrum Town Centre with my auntie. We have been planning a shopping trip for ages and we finally got the chance to go. As soon as we arrived to Dundrum it was straight to Poco by Pippa for the two of us.
When Pippa first brought out her jeans collection I was sceptical off the quality and the high price point. However I’ve heard nothing but good reviews and really wanted to get my hands on a pair for myself. After trying on most of the styles, I settled on The Tummy Tuck jeans.
I love how high waisted these are, they are super slimming and really accentuate my figure. I know I’m going to end up living in these!
Lastly we made a quick trip to Zara, a shop that I never really go into!
I picked up this gorgeous orange top with floral pattern. The sleeves on this top are ? length and cinch in at the end with some slight ruching. Orange is one of my favourite colours to wear and I can tell this will be a staple in my summer wardrobe.
I still have some vouchers left after my Birthday so there will definitely be another haul coming soon! I’ve spotted some gorgeous pieces in New Look and of course Penneys constantly have new stock coming in so you can expect to see hauls from both!
Thanks For Reading!
